Question:
All of the pictures of the Roadmaster Blackhawk 2 Tow Bar show the heavy cross bar on the vehicle end. Does that come as part of the tow bar? I wont be needing that as I would be using it with a Blue Ox Base Plate and the appropriate connection adaptors.

The Roadmaster # RM-422 BlackHawk tow bar you specified does include the quick disconnect crossbar, the tow bar isn't available minus the crossbar. Even though it will include the crossbar you don't need, it's still the most reasonably priced option with a 10K weight capacity.
