Typically, long bed trucks are right at 8 feet long, give or take a couple inches, depending on where you measure them. Your 2013 Chevy Silverado has an 8 foot bed. Just to make things consistent we list everything either 6-1/2 ft or 8 ft even known a couple trucks have slightly longer or shorter beds.

The Reese Custom Install kit # RP56001-53 that you referenced will be the kit for your vehicle. This rail kit works on 8 foot beds and 6-1/2 foot beds also.

For a 22k Reese hitch that will work in the rails of the # RP56001-53 you should check out the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30033.
