From what I have found the 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited does NOT need to have fuses pulled to flat tow it. This means you will not need a fuse bypass. Consult the owners manual to confirm this and for other specific information on flat towing your Jeep.

There are other items needed to flat tow your Jeep: base plates, tow bar, safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking.

For base plates I recommend the Roadmaster XL base plates # 1439-1. These base plates will fit without an aftermarket bumper, winch, or guard OR will fit if you have the Warn Elite bumper. I have included a link to the installation instructions for you.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Falcon 2, # RM-520. This tow bar is the most popular tow bar for XL base plates. It has a 6,000 pound capacity and is a motor home mount which offers the best performance and security.

For safety cables I recommend the coiled cables # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.

For lighting I recommend kit # RM-154. This harness is great for a one-time installation and also if you plan to tow the Jeep often. And you will not need to use a brake light relay when using a supplemental braking system.

Most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being towed. the easiest system to set up and use is the Even Brake, # RM-9400 proportional system. It applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.

I have included some helpful links on flat towing for you to view.
