Does Using Longer Ball Mount Reduce Hitch Weight Capacity

I have an off road mini camper with a 140 lb tongue weight that is lifted so I need to use the hitch facing up. My current hitch has a distance of 9inch from the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball. This application obstructs my trailer tongue from lowering onto the hitch ball with the spare tire mounted on the spare tire mount of my 2015 jeep wrangler unlimited. If I use your item will I lose tongue weight capacity? I believe your item will clear my spare tire, but I dont want to put unnecessary strain on my hitch. My receiver has a 2000 lb capacity.

Longer ball mounts like the part # 80232 that you referenced are a great way to add clearance at the rear of the tow vehicle like you are looking for without diminishing towing capacity. So you can use this ball mount and not have to worry about losing any capacity. It's when you use a hitch adapter/extender that causes the capacity to be reduced.
