How to Power Lightbar Without Plugging Into Factory Tow Package

I read the tech help from Karla on this topic but want to make sure I am clear. To connect the lightbar if I connect to the wiring for tail/stop/turn signals at the light to provide the power to the lightbar I will not impact/disable the backup camera, the BLISS, or any of the safety features at the rear. Am I correct? Vehicle is a 2021 Ranger Lariat Thanks for your help.

That is correct! Splicing straight into the tail light wiring is the only way to power a lightbar like # BLS-1103 without making your truck think the lightbar is a trailer. The tow package port in the rear only disables the rear features because it thinks you are towing a trailer. By getting your power from the lights themselves and leaving the factory port open, then it will be business as usual with all your safety features like the camera, sensors, etc.

Carla gave great advice with using the # C58345 for your splicing needs and following the attached video to help guide you through the process.
