No Power on 12-Volt Pin at Trailer Connector on 2011 Chevy Silverado
Question:
I have a 2011 silverado I’ve already connected both wires under the hood to the posts at the distribution box and replaced / installed a new 40 amp and 30 amp fuse I should be able to get power now based on my knowledge and what I have read. Well my reason for the question is because I don’t have power What would be the next steps in diagnosing my problem?

It sounds like you're not getting power at the pin in the 1:00 position in the trailer connector.
If you've installed new fuses and attached the wires at the distribution box under the hood, at this point I'd just abandon that feed and run the circuit directly to the positive battery terminal using a length of # 10-1-1 wire, a # 9510 circuit breaker and 2 # 44-5310A small ring terminals and one # 44-5356A large ring terminal. At the rear of the vehicle, find the wire feeding the pin in the 1:00 position in the 7-way trailer connector, cut the wire and connect the wire exiting the 7-way into the wire that you ran from from the battery.
