Good morning, I have a 2016 VW Tiguan TSI 4Motion with a moonroof and am looking for the right crossbars and basket! I go camping a lot and would like to find a basket that would fit all my gear. I value wind noise reduction and sturdiness while remaining on budget. Ive been looking at the following crossbars: I am unsure of how these crossbars would match with the baskets to give me enough sturdiness and clearance between the roof and bars. I would really value your input and help as this is my first kit purchase and I am excited about water sports and camping season! Thanks, Laura

The Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711220 and part # TH710401 is what I recommend for a 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan with factory raised side rails. It has aero shaped bars for reduced wind noise and the updated feet for a tight connection. It will then allow you to use pretty much any rooftop basket such as the Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket part # RMCB02 which is a great option. There's not a ton of space between the roof and crossbars but there will be enough to mount the basket onto the crossbars.
