Will the Curt Trailer Hitch Mount Folding Cargo Carrier Clear the Bumper on a 2006 Lexus GX 470

Will I have enough clearance for this carrier to fold and lock in the upright position?

Expert Reply:
On trailer hitches that we have installed on the same generation Lexus GX470 as yours, there would be clearance to fold up the Curt cargo carrier, # C18100. How you will be able to tell is to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your hitch straight back to the distance required to clear the rear bumper on the vehicle. If that measurement is less than 5 inches then it can be folded without touching the vehicle. I have included a link to a video review of this carrier for you.
