Can Standard Trailer 4-Way Replace One With 7 Wires
Question:
I need to replace a Wesbar 4 pin connector that has 7 wires running to it. Is there a replacement for this connector or can I use a 4 or 5 wire connector? Just need brake, running and turn lights to function. Thanks

Helpful Expert Reply:
A 4-way with seven wires has two wires for each side of the taillight circuit, and you can use a standard 4-way, like you mentioned, the Wesbar 4-Pole Flat Connector # W787264.
I have added a link below to a video review for you to take a look at, as well as a couple help articles on trailer wiring you may want to check out.
