How Does the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring Install on a 1998 Toyota RAV4
Question:
how does this kit install ,is there a coupling before the tail light bulbs that i diconnect and then plug in your harness? and if so how do i access it?? any info you can give me would be great

I attached a set of installation instructions for the Draw-Tite Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring # 118388 that you referenced. But basically, you will open the rear hatch, push the rear seat forward, remove the rear threshold panel, storage covers and floor covering. Next, you will remove the rear interior trim panels. Several trim panel fasteners will need to be removed.
To make removing the fasteners you may also be interested in purchasing a Fastener Remover # ALL648544.
Once you get into the rear taillight assembly far enough you will be able to disconnect the wiring harness from your taillights and plug the # 118388 inline with the harness.
