A-Frame Coupler Recommendation for Off Road Trailer

Question:

I have a 1992 Fleetwood Wilderness travel trailer that has the typical A-Frame trailer coupler on front that accepts a 2 5/16inch ball....I would like to upgrade to a heavier duty coupler- my travel trailer has an upgraded suspension system and I use it for off grid camping.....so areas that I go can have some pretty rough roads and mountainous terrain- I saw a different Sleeve Type coupler design that had a high weight rating that I liked, but I would like to know if that type of hitch design would give as much/better/or worse freedom of movement since I can go through deep ravines...up and over steep hills....and sometimes my truck is tilted left when the trailer tilts right.....what is the best designed coupler that will give me the best freedom of movement in challenging terrain with the bonus of more security with my off road travels....the trailer is 24inch and approx 8000 lbs loaded- currently it has the standard A frame coupler that is welded on with a bulldog electric jack- would consider a bolt on system it that offers better security for a replacement system- please let me know the products you would recommend that accepts a 2 5/16 ball - thanks!

For an off-road trailer the Lock N Roll Articulating Coupler part # 336TS504 would be your best option for an a-frame trailer as it offers the best articulation and was specifically designed for off-road applications.

Then for the matching style "ball mount" for the vehicle side you'd want the part # 336VS517 and you'd be set. Both of these have 11k capacities.
