Fuse Box Location for Brake Controller Installation on 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
2018 silverado with e assist. Cannot locate the fusebox plug location for brake controller. Shows upper left corner, but looks like all ports are full, except for 2 on left lower side. Please advise

When using the # 3016 to install a Tekonsha or Draw-Tite brake controller on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500, you're looking for the 2 plugs on the left hand side and you will install the controller adapter in the upper one; there should be a larger long one on the bottom and one directly above it where you'll plug in. I've attached a photo of this which you should compare to yours, as well as an installation video that shows this process.
If your fuse box looks differently and can provide a photo I'm happy to look and see if we can determine where to plug in.

I installed the switch for the electrical brake stop the 2018 Chevy Silverado did not come with the electrical brake switch controller, but it did have the plug-in play behind the panel put the new switch in but nothing so I’m thinking that it needs a fuse you take
