Recommended Front Hitch to Mount a Winch on a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 LS

I would like to add a front reciever hitch this surburban. I will use it to mount a winch. Is this the best hitch for this Suburban? Will it stick out far enough for the winch to attach without hitting the front bumper. Thank you

The # 65028 front mounted hitch is the only one we offer to fit a 2000 Chevrolet Suburban 2500. It looks like the hitch opening should end up nearly even with the main face of the bumper. Take a look at the diagram in the instructions link I provided to get a better idea of where the hitch will sit once installed.

Typically, you would use a winch mount plate like the Curt # C31010 that slides into the hitch. Depending on the winch, using a mount like this should bring it out far enough from the bumper.
