Recommended Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2020 Ram 2500

Towing a 9000 lb travel trailer with a 1000 lb tongue weight. Looking to put a 3inch lift on my truck and Im looking for some suspension assist while towing the trailer but overlanding without the trailer I want the off road shocks to do the work. Any suggestions.

For your 2020 Ram 2500 Crew Cab I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle # F2706 you were looking at as they will provide up to 7500lbs of load leveling support when you are towing, and when you are not towing you can air the bags down to the minumum pressure of 5 PSI allowing your shocks and coil springs to deal with the rougher terrain found when overlanding.

Since you mentioned you are planning on putting a 3" lift on your truck you will need to add a spacer, but keep in mind that most lift kits do not lift the exact amount the state so you will want to measure from the bottom of the helper spring to the top of the lower mounting bracket.

The available options are as follows:

2" Spacer # F2366

3" Spacer # F2368

4" Spacer # F2371

To keep from having to manually inflate the air helper springs each time you are ready to tow or carry a heavy payload I recommend adding an on-board air compressor system like the Air Lift QuickShot Compressor System for Air Springs - Support Line and Reserve Tank - Dual Path # AL25572 which will not only allow you to adjust the pressure in your air bags from your driver sear, but also has a reserve tank that can be used to air up a flat tire if needed.

I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
