According to our friends at Yakima, their EvenKeel will work with crossbars measuring up to 3-5/8 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall, so it'll work fine on the 1-1/4 inch square crossbars used on the Malone # MAL53FR EcoLight trailer you'd asked about. Keep in mind that the # Y04052 EvenKeel has an 80 lb weight capacity, so you won't want to exceed that. The EvenKeel includes the necessary straps to attach the kayak to the crossbars, as well as the bow/stern tie downs.
