When Installing the Buyers 15 Ton Pintle Hitch Do I Need to Use 6 Mounting Bolts?
Question:
The mounting plate has 6 bolt holes, are you suppose to use all six? When you compare this 15 ton pintle hitch to 337BP760A 30 ton has only 2 mounting plate holes. Also how tight do you tighten the center nut with the spring? The video did not address these questions. Thank You

The Buyers Products 15 Ton Swivel Type Pintle Hook # 337BP100A does require you to use all 6 mounting locations. The instructions require 1/2" grade 8 bolts and nuts to attach this to your mounting flange.
The Buyers Products 30 Ton Heavy-Duty Swivel Type Pintle Hook # 337BP760A will include 2- 3/4" bolts for mounting to the required flange.
For the installation of the # 337BP100A spring "Install pintle, spring, washer(s) and nut. Use one washer for 3/4" mounting thickness and two washers for 5/8" mounting thickness. Tighten nut to slightly compress spring and install cotter key in nut castellation. Spread cotter pin."
