Is Load Range D Kenda Tire & Wheel AM31208HWTB OK For Camper With 2,390 GVWR

Kenda KR25 Radial Trailer Tire with 12 Aluminum HWT Black Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range D. The description reads, “1,220-lb maximum load at 65psi”. My pop up camper weighs GVWR is 2,390#. I bought these because of the “D” rating. Are these tires going to be okay for my pop up camper?

Expert Reply:

Yes, your camper with a 2,390 lb GVWR will be okay along with the Kenda KR25 Radial Trailer Tire with 12" Aluminum HWT Black Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range D # AM31208HWTB.

These tires have a capacity of 1,220 lbs when inflated at 65 psi, but that's per tire, so a total of 2,440 lbs, which is past your max GVWR, and that's exactly what you are looking for in a tire. You will just want to make sure your tires are fully inflated to the max 65 psi.

The only other thing you will need if you don't have them are lug nuts, the Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2"-20 - Stainless Steel # LHLR103.
