Does the Saris SuperClamp EX Require a Class II Hitch?  

The Saris super-clamp instructions seem to have changed. One of your experts said that Saris requires a Class II hitch, when answering a customer question. He showed a screen-shot that indicates the Class II spec. But I checked the instructions available from Saris on-line today 5/6/21 and there is absolutely no mention of a Class II requirement. This is critical information for me. Our cars 2016 Mazda 3 hatch, and 2010 Honda Fit are equipped with Class 1 hitches. I dont think class II hitches are available for these cars, or many other small vehicles. Can you clarify?
