Question:
I have a 2019 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with Blue Ox baseplate and a 6 pin connector. The RV hitch is about three inches higher than the Jeep adapters, so will I need a hitch height adapter? Also, I see in the videos that there are two electric cables from the RV to the Jeep, so will I need to add another electrical adapter, and is that for the supplemental braking system? Finally, would this be a better choice than a Roadmaster Falcon knowing that I also need Blue Ox adapters.

I've attached our guide for choosing a high/low adapter for your RV Hitch but for your case I recommend the Curt High-Low Adapter # C27KR. To attach your Curt Rambler Steel Tow Bar # C26FR to your Blue Ox base plates you'll need the Blue Ox Base Plates to Reese, Valley or Draw-Tite Tow Bar Adapter Kit # BX8833 adapter. In the video you're seeing two black safety cables, a dark blue electrical cable, a light blue air compressor hose for the specific braking system being used, and the disconnect safety cable. The supplemental braking system and tail light wiring will all run through the single electrical cable. You'll need an adapter for your Blue Ox base plates if you choose to go with the Roadmaster Falcon tow bar as well, which would be the Blue Ox Base Plate Adapter Brackets for Roadmaster Tow Bars # BX88151.
