Looking for cross bars to use with factory rails. Fords cross bars must be removed after use account low clearance on rear bar. This prohibits use of panoramic window if I want to just leave the bars on year around

For an aftermarket roof rack for your 2020 Ford Escape with factory rails, I recommend the following setup:

For clearance on your sunroof, there is about 3 inches between where the crossbars attach at the mounting points on the towers and the bottom of the CoreBar Crossbars. Before purchasing the bars, I recommend measuring the top of the roof to make sure that you will be able to use your panoramic window on top of your vehicle.
