Flat Tow Parts for 2018 Jeep Sahara Wrangler Unlimited

Question:

I have a Roadmaster Falcon All Terain Non binding tow bar for my motorhome, along with the Braking Buddy, but I need all the rest of necessary items and safety devices to make my 2018 Jeep Wrangler ready to flat tow. To begin with, How can I tell for positive that my Jeep is a JK or JL ? Thank you so much for your professional imput!

You can tell just by looking if you have a JK or JL. The JL has bigger fender flares and the front blinkers have been moved from the grill to the flares. The JL tail lights look like they have a squeezed belt line in the middle of them rather than just square. I suppose you could also contact your dealer with your VIN number to have them advise that way.

Having the Falcon tow bar and Brake Buddy is a good start! Now you just need the Roadmaster # RM-9243-1 Towing Kit that includes safety cables, lighting wiring kit with diodes, locks, and covers.

You might also need a high/low adapter. I have included an attachment showing how to measure for an adapter and another link for the adapters that we have.
