Question:
I have a 2020 pilot, love the idea of a brake controller I don’t need to do any permanent installation on. My car uses Apple CarPlay to show the apps on the main screen. I would think this would be safer than using your phone and curious if it worked. Thanks!

The Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller # C51180 is not compatible with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto.
There is a Manual Override Button # C83HR that is wireless and operates with a CR2016 battery.
The nice thing about the Curt Echo is once you have it set it will default to the last setting you had loaded. It will also automatically adjust to light or severe braking with its inertia sensor. This means that you do not have to monitor it or make constant adjustments while driving.
