Expert Reply:
Semi-truck king pins and 5th wheel king pin's typically are not the same size and the Blaylock # BLTL-70-40D is designed for use with 2" diameter 5th wheel king pins. If your semi trailer does not have a larger 3-1/2" king pin then you could use the Blaylock # BLTL-70-40D to secure your trailer.
