Recommended Tire and Wheel Replacement for a 1954 Spartan Trailer With 6 Lug Wheels

From what I could find out about the 1954 Spartan Trailer line, it does look like they used the 6 on 5 1/2 bolt pattern for their 15 inch wheels. That being said, this should be verified before finalizing anything. 6 Bolts are pretty easy to verify though and you will just need to measure from the center of one lug hole to the center of the lug hole directly across from it. This should get you exactly 5 1/2 inches.
If that checks out, the Kenda Karrier ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Black Steel Wheel # AM32575 will be a highly recommended replacement. These are rated up to 2,540 pounds at 65 psi and have an M speed rating, meaning they are rated up to 81 miles per hour. One of the cool things about this set up is the conventional style steel wheel. This allows something like the Phoenix USA Baby Moon Hubcap # PX1307SS to be added to complete a vintage look.
