Do Dexter axles come pre greased or do we need to grease before using?

The Dexter Trailer Axle w/ Electric Brakes - E-Z Lube - 6 on 5-1/2 Bolt Pattern - 89" - 6,000 lbs # 8327830-EB you were looking at does not come pre-greased so you will need to pack the bearings with the included marine grade grease.
That is pretty easy on this axle as it has the E-Z Lube spindle with a zerk fitting so you can add grease without having to take the spindle apart. I do still recommend adding some grease to the spindle and bearings before installing, then topping it off through the zerk fitting.
The included grease comes in a tube for a grease gun so if you do not have one I recommend the
LubriMatic Standard-Duty, Lever Action Grease Gun
