Do I Need a Fused Connection To Install the Ventline Ventadome 12 Volt Roof Vent Fan
Question:
Can the 12V fan be connected directly to a 12V deep cycle battery, or do I need to connect an inline fuse and or a buck dc to dc 12V converter to limit the voltage the fan receives?

The Installation Instructions for the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2094SP-30, do not mention using a inline fuse. They show the connection going straight to the 12V battery source.
I have seen these installed and wired into the nearest light source. The only draw back is the fan will only receive power when the light switch is on this way.
