Lippert Front Stabilizer Jack Won't Go Down

Front stabilizer jack won’t go down but acts like it wants to go up. Is this the switch?

On the Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack # LC298707 you will want to test the different components to determine if it is the switch or possibly another component of your system.

First I recommend running the jack manually to determine if you notice any spots where the jack seems to bind up. It the gears or shaft become damaged or bent this would cause the jack not to work properly. If you feel this then you will need to replace the jack.

Next you will want to ensure that your battery is fully charged and in good working condition. If the voltage drops to low the motor will not function properly.

You can attempt to bypass the switch and run the jack motor wiring directly to the battery. I wouldn't attempt to run the jack fully with weight unless you have the correct 6-Amp Auto Reset Breaker # LC134181. If the system works properly without the switch and the fuses/circuit breakers are correct and in working order you will need to replace the Switch # LC387874.
