Question:
Boat trailer has SR225/75R Load range D tires. Boat, motor sand trailer weigh 2980 lbs. What are your highest rated tires that would fit to replace these tires? I often pull long distances at highway speeds. this is a single axle trailer with a 5000 pound Dexter axle.

The Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # LHWL304 will be an ideal upgrade for your current tires. This will have an E load range, which puts it up to 2,830 pounds at 80 psi. This is also a radial tire, which will run cooler than a bias ply therein extending the life of the tire.
