Fitment of the Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector on 1-1/4 Hitch

Question:

I have a Curt 11581 1.5 Inch Sport Frame hitch. Will the RM-050 work with this hitch given that the hitch size is smaller than the spec.

The Roadmaster Rollaway Trailer Hitch Protector, # RM-050 is designed for a 2" hitch. This will not work with the 1-1/4" Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver without modification. Please see the attached product review and installation video. Currently we do not carry this type of product for use on a 1-1/2" hitch without modification.
