Which is Better Slightly Nose High or Nose Low Trailer
Question:
If the is 4.5, would you choose a ball mount that has a 5 inch or would a 4 inch . Which is safer, a slight tilt up of the trailer or a slight tilt down of the trailer My trailer is a tandem axle

Helpful Expert Reply:
In most cases it's a bit safer to go on the slightly lower nose height setting instead of slightly higher since higher can sometimes cause sway. But if the vehicle is going to squat quite a bit from the weight of the trailer then the higher would work better which would be the case with the 4 inch drop ball mount part # 2753.
