Question:
I have a Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2 Item # 33328. I use it for a winch mount. I would like to use it for maneuvering a 30 ft travel trailer, but the tongue weight of the trailer is 7-800 pounds. With a tongue weight rating of 350 pounds, I dont see how other use this to maneuver their trailers safely -am I missing something?

You are correct that since the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 33328 on your Honda Pilot has a 350lb vertical load rating, you will not be able to use it to maneuver your 30' travel trailer that has 700-800lbs tongue weight.
If people are using this hitch to move a trailer this heavy, they are most definitely overloading the hitch by a considerable amount.
To maneuver your travel trailer around I recommend using the Trailer Valet XL Trailer Dolly with Chain Drive - 2-5/16" Hitch Ball - 10,000 lbs # TVXL25 which has a tongue weight rating of 1000lbs and a trailer weight rating of 10000lbs so it will have no issue with your camper.
The # TVXL25 uses a chain drive system which can be operated by turning the hand crank, or you can use the included drill adapter to use a drill instead. This along with the auto braking feature will allow you tightly maneuver your trailer around safely, and easily.
I included a video of the # TVXL25 for you to take a look at.
