2021 Toyota RAV4 XSE Hybrid Roof Rack Compatibility

We have 2 Old Town Loon 100 kayaks that we’ve hauled on 48” length Yakima round crossbars on our Subaru Outback no special kayak carrier, just tied down. Now we need to set up a roof rack system on our new 2021 Toyota RAV4 XSE hybrid. Etrailer has verified the 47” Thule Wingbar Evo, but not the 50”. We’d like as much space as we can. Will 50” work on our 2021 Toyota RAV4 w/flush rails? Any issues?Will etrailer ever be verifying the 50”?

With Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars the distance between the flush rails on your vehicle matter. To check on the compatibility of the longer Thule WingBar's compatibility with your vehicle you will have to measure the distance between the center of your flush rails at the widest point on your roof. I have included a diagram that shows the distance between your flush rails and what length bar will work your vehicle.

The rack I recommend for your 2021 Toyota RAV4 will depend on that measurement. Your rack will consist of the
Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars - Fixed Point - Qty 4, part # TH460R, the Fit Kit for Thule Podium-Style Roof Rack Feet - 3177, part # THKIt3177, and the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4, part # TH450400 and

depending on the distance between your flush rails measurements your bars will be;

Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 53" Long, part # TH711420, preferred length
Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 50" Long, part # TH711320,
Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 47" Long, part # TH711220.

This is your complete roof rack. It has a load capacity of 165lbs. It has elliptical shaped bars to reduce wind noise and drag. This rack's crossbars have a channel for all accessories that attach via the channel while maintaining compatibility with accessories that clamp to the crossbars. The bars are only 3" longer than your initial choice, that is an extra 1 1/2" per side. It will minimally affect the look of your rack while giving you 6" of space compared to the 47" bars.

I have included product description links and video review links below.
