Recommended Heavy Duty Jack To Change Tire On 2009 Toyota Sienna Converted To Camper Van

Question:

I have a 2009 Toyota sienna which Ive turned into a camping vehicle. Curb weight for this is 4270 to 4550 lbs. I have taken out middle and 1 of the rear seats, but added a fridge sleeping platform, and also carry a bike rack and bike, kayak and various camping materials, which I am guessing total weight to be another 600 lbs or so. I had a flat once, and was able to change it with the existing Sienna jack, but it was difficult, and may have compromised integrity of the jack. Would this jack be a worthy replacement for the factory jack to be used for changing tires, or is there another model or type of jack I should look into? Thanks

I have another option for you, but the etrailer Scissor Jacks with Handle - 24" Lift - 5,000 lbs - Qty 2 # e99012 you were looking at are actually designed to level and stabilize a trailer and are not designed to jack up your 2009 Toyota Sienna.

Instead I recommend the Powerbuilt Unijack Bottle Jack with Built-In Jack Stand # ALL620471 which has a 6000lb capacity which is more than enough to lift up on corner of your Sienna, and has 21" lift so it will give you plenty of height to get your tire off.

This jack has a built in jack stand so you will be safe while working on your vehicle without having to carry an additional component.

I included a video of the # ALL620471 for you to take a look at.
