Best Malone LowMax Trailer For Heavy Kayaks

Hobie Mirage Passport - 10.5foot L, 34inch W, 75lbs Hobie Pro Angler 14 - 13.8foot L, 38inch W, 148lbs Hi etrailer team. I have the 2 kayaks above. Is this the trailer MAL35FR you would recommend for my gear? Most of my trips would be 10 - 15 miles, with the occasional trip of up to 250 miles. Do you see any issue with the lopsidedness of the 148lb kayak and the 75lb kayak on the same trailer? Are there any upgrades that would make the tow more comfortable. My vehicle is a 2011 Chevy Cruze, and I would like to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Item #C11282. Let me know if this would be a good combo for me.

Since you're planning on hauling extremely heavy kayaks, I recommend getting the Malone MicroSport Trailer with J-Style Carriers for 4 Kayaks - 800 pounds # MPG462G2 and not the V- Style Kit # MAL35FR because of the weight. The bunk style is SUPER solid and does well with heavier kayaks. I don't think that there will be issues with the trailer being lop sided. If you're concerned with that, you can move the bunks closer to the center of the trailers. The closest to the center of the trailer the better.

This hitch # C11282 will work with your 2011 Chevy Cruise and you'll need a ball mount # C45592. This is a good combo.
