Are Wheel Bolts and Lug Nuts Torqued to the Same Specs
Question:
Are 1/2 inch wheel bolts torqued the same as lug nuts 75-85 ft/lbs.? This is on a 4.80 x 8 steel rim. Thank you.

Yes. Wheel bolts should be torqued to the same specs as their lug nut counterparts of the same size. If you don't have a torque wrench already, the Powerbuilt Dual Drive Torque Wrench - 3/8" and 1/2" - 10 to 150 ft-lb # ALL944001 would be a good pickup.
