Determining If Blue Ox TrackPro BLU77FR Is Correct For 2020 Nissan Pathfinder Towing Trailer

Question:

Heres my setup: Tow Vehicle: 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SV, capacity 6,600 lbs Installed eTrailer parts: T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector #118273 Draw-Tite I-Command Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional #5535 Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Nissan and Infinit #3050-P Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class IV - 2inch #76031 Trailer: 2021 Heartland Prowler RD212 Dry Weight: 4,650 lbs Gross Weight: 7,570 which I will never get to! 2-axle, 3,500 lbs/axle, 570-lb tongue weight I was guessing that I might have up to 400-ish pounds max in the front storage compartment of the trailer. Not much room in the cargo compartment of my Pathfinder for something behind the rear axle. Coupler height is 21inch so I expect to put the 7-hole receiver shank in the riseinch position. Is this a good system for my setup?

Since the unloaded tongue weight rating of your 2021 Heartland Prowler RD212 is 570lbs and you are planning on carrying roughly 400lbs in cargo in the front of the trailer the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 10K GTW, 1K TW # BLU77FR you were looking at may work.

To confirm this you will need to verify your exact total tongue weight, which is the tongue weight of your fully loaded and ready to tow trailer plus the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of your 2020 Nissan Pathfinder SV.

Using a tongue weight scale like the # e99044 is an easy way to get an accurate tongue weight measurement, but there are other methods outlined in the included help article.

The # BLU77FR you were looking at works with total tongue weights between 800-1000lbs, so it will likely work with your setup.

If you find your total tongue weight is outside of this range just let me know.
