The MORryde StepAbove RV Steps for 23-3/4" to 26-1/4" Wide Doorways - 3 Steps Item # MR98RR is the correct fit for your 24-1/4" door frame width and 31" entry entry height. The steps that come with the strut assist require a minimum of 31/5" entry height.
You could get the MORryde StepAbove RV Steps with Strut Assist - 23-3/4" to 24-1/4" Wide Doorways - 3 Steps Item # MR45RR and just not extend the legs all the way but you'll want to be careful not to trip because the first step will be lower to the ground.
