The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver you'd looked at, part # 306-X7322 is a confirmed fit for fit for your 2018 Honda HR-V and has a 2000 lb towing/300 lb tongue weight (maximum amount of downward force that can be applied to hitch) capacity. So, the hitch itself can handle a trailer and cargo weighing up to 2000 lbs.
The US version of the owner's manual states that the vehicle shouldn't be used to tow a trailer, but I've seen online references to an 800KG towing capacity (1760 lbs) so you'll need to make your own decision on that.
If you decide to install the hitch and tow with it, I'd keep the weight as minimal as possible. In addition to the hitch, you'll need a wiring harness like # 118673, and the Curt Class III Ball Mount with 2" Ball - 2" Drop - 7,500 lbs # C45036 which even comes with the pin and clip.
I've linked to install videos for the hitches and trailer wiring harness mentioned above.
