Hello, I am wondering if I can “stow” the 5” , 2.5” coupler hitch on my 2018 Chevy 3500HD or if I need the 7”?

As the ball on the B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS20037B can be turned parallel to the ground, you should not have an issue using the 5 inch drop. That being said, if you do need more drop, the 7 inch drop # BWTS20040B will be the better option.
