Question:
Is there an option to connect directly to the existing mounts that the factory rails are attached to. Would prefer not to add the height by mounting to the factory crossbars.

You can attach a platform rack to naked roof, flush-mount rails, or raised roof rails of your 2020 Nissan Armada. If you removed your current roof rack then you could go with Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Rack with Backbone Mounting System - 84" Long x 56" Wide # RR98AB.
