What are the Maximum Crossbar Sizes that Fit the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier?

In the second box down on the left side of Page 3 of the assembly instructions for the Rhino Rack 2 kayak carrier model S512 there is a side view of the carrier. Are the dimensions of 100mm width and 36mm depth shown on the underside of the carrier those for the maximum size of a cross bar that the carrier bracket could accommodate?

I confirmed with my contact at Rhino-Rack that, yes, the 100mm width and 36mm depth shown in the attached photo from the installation manual is the maximum dimensions of crossbars that the brackets of the Rhino-Rack 2 Kayak Carrier # S512-S512X can accommodate. If you need hardware for larger bars, Rhino-Rack recommended the Crossbar Adapters for Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carriers S510, S511, and S512 # KC-FK8.
