Question:
We just purchased a new to us Motorhome with model 6600 Fantastic Fans. The 417rf remotes are not working properly and one is damaged from old batteries. Is it possible to remove the remote option and simply use the fans with the manual controls on the fans them selves?

For your Fan-tastic vent fan model 6600 there is not a replacement remote available. I reached out to my contact at Fan-tastic Vents and they have discontinued that remote along with the entire product and said you will need to replace it with a newer system. I recommend the Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350 for a replacement.
This is a remote controlled roof vent with a power lift and adjustable fan speed that can move up to 920 CFM.
