Power 12 Volt Roof Vent to Replace Manual Vent
Question:
Will this FVK6010-80 unit work with any standard, hand crank roof vent lid ?., I would like to change my manual crank to power operated. Thank you

The motor you mentioned is a specific replacement for a Fan-Tastic vent, so it won't allow a conversion from a manual to a powered roof vent. There isn't a universal type of application to do this, so you would need to replace your roof vent with one that has a powered lift.
There are a couple of options for this, from Fan-Tastic vents:
- Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote - Powered Lift # FV807350
- Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Powered Lift # FV803350
They do come with installation hardware, though you would also need sealant, the LaSalle Bristol XTRM Universal Self-Leveling Sealant # 34427034145-1.
