Question:
I have red and tacky grease in boat trailer bearings. I have ez lube axles. I hand pumped grease through axle grease zerk rotating wheel. I noticed the rear seal was leaking. Did I apply to much pressure when pumping grease or did th red and tacky grease expand and blow rear seal. Is the a difference in grease expansion between marine grease and red and tacky grease. I have read the difference in water affects on grease.

It's very easy to pump too much grease into EZ lube spindles and end up blowing out the grease seal like you did. In reality we recommend just greasing by hand and if you use the EZ lube fitting to go very light with it.
None of the greases expand at a drastically different rate.
