What side of the lube plate goes against the pin box?

Lube plates like the Curt part # 16721 will have a side that says which is supposed to face the pin box. Sometimes it's on a sticker or sometimes it's stamped into the plate. On this plate it's the top side, or the side with the label and UPC on it.
