Stabilizer Jacks for the Front of an Enclosed Toy Hauler Trailer

Question:

I have a 16ft enclosed tag trailer that I use to haul my drag car. Unfortunately my car sits so low to the ground that I end up having to place a floor jack under my trailer jack in order to get the trailer up high enough to unload the car. I dont like how wobbly the trailer is when pulling the car in and out of the trailer with the jack all the way up. Do you think these jacks would provide the stability needed if I place it under the front frame of the trailer after jacking it up?

Expert Reply:

The stabilizer jacks, # JB-20, are made to help support slide-outs on travel trailers and would not be the best option for your application. What I recommend is a pair of scissor jacks like # UF48-979031, one on each side of the trailer frame. You can actually use a power drill with the correct socket to raise and lower the legs to make it easier and faster. I assume that you have one in the trailer since it is hauling a drag car and all. You could use bit # UF48-979005.
