Question:

The # D13950 Derale Atomic-Cool Remote Transmission Cooler Kit w/ Fan can be used in your 1969 Camaro with 5.7L Engine. I reached out to Derale and they confirmed this.
This cooler is designed to be mounted anywhere. According to the installation manual, the purpose is to be able to mount the cooler away from the front of the vehicle therefore not blocking airflow to the radiator/condenser. This cooler can be mounted anywhere space permits. Always keep in mind that the cooler still needs access to airflow to perform at its peak.
The overall dimensions are 12-3/4" wide x 9-3/8" tall x 4-5/16" deep so you will need enough space to accommodate the size of unit and also run the transmission lines.
