Adjustable Ball Mount for 3 inch Hitch on GMC Sierra 3500

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 dually. Completely stock. Has a 3” receiver. The shortest I can get for this product for the 3” is 6” . I feel like it may be long for a stock height 19.5” from ground to top of receiver. I don’t want to hit. Can you confirm that this will be fine for my stick vehicle? Thank you

For a 3 inch hitch that is 19-1/2 inches from the top of it down to the ground you'd want a ball mount with about 6 inches of drop like the Weigh Safe part # WS6-3 that you referenced. The ball mount will be high enough it won't drag and you'll have enough drop to tow trailers that sit lower as it's very common for trailer couplers to sit more towards 12/13 inches from ground. The fact that the dual ball setup of this is a removable ball instead of one that has two balls on either side of the platform also helps with ground clearance.
