Troubleshooting Wiring When Replacing Tail Light on 1995 Coleman Pop-Up Trailer


1995 Coleman pop-up trailer Replacing left tail light there’s a red wire white wire and two green wires I can only get the running lights to work no signal no break do all the green wires together?

In order to troubleshoot this problem you are going to need to use a circuit tester like the # PTW2993. Once you hook your tow vehicle up to your camper, have a friend or family member apply the brakes and turn signal while you test the wires to find the correct function. Once you know which function each wire is tied to you can correctly install your replacement tail light.

If you are replacing it with a light like the # 30-92-001 Bargman Trailer Tail Light, the white wire is the ground, the green wire is for the running light circuit and the black for the stop/turn signal circuit.
