Recommended Extended Ball Mount For Towing Trailer W/ 2021 Entegra Odyssey 26 Motorhome

I purchased a 2021 Entegra Odyssey 26ft Motorcoach Type C with a trailer hitch that supports 7,500lbs. I have an enclosed 8.5 x16, dual axle, standard tongue trailer that I need to pull three Harleys ~2,400 lb across the country. Do I need to re-fabricate my tongue to extend or can I buy an extended hitch? How long does the tongue need to be? If so, what model or part?

I may have another option for you depending on how long of an extension you are needing, but all of the hitch extensions we offer for the 2" trailer hitch receiver on your 2021 Entegra Odysset 26' Motorhome have a max towing capacity of 3500lbs which will not be enough for the weight of your trailer plus the three Harley's you are planning on towing.

Instead we have extended ball mounts like the Brophy Ball Mount for 2" Hitch # BH20 which measures 13-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the center of the ball hole. If this is long enough to clear the rear of your camper this would be your best option as this ball mount has a trailer weight rating of 10000lbs which will be more than enough for your trailer and motorcycles.

In addition you will also need a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" shank. I recommend either the 2" # A-90 or 2-5/16" # 19286 to match the coupler on your trailer.

I included a few videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
